Been “scrobbling” tracks since 2007 when it was called Audioscrobbler. Having a record of everything you’ve ever listened to, regardless of whatever music platform you use, is just nice. I routinely export my history to have locally, just in case.
If you use Apple Music on iOS, Marvis is much better than the Last.fm app (and it works as a nice Music.app alternative).
And on macOS, Sleeve is the perfect desktop buddy with Last.fm integration. It’s what I wish the MiniPlayer was for Music.app.”
