“Literally, obsessed with keeping personal stuff to myself and those in my orbit (who I choose to share with). Sometimes, I’ll run into someone and they’ll ask how my PhD is going and I relish in the fact that I quit it at the end of 2022 and get to fill them in on that journey. It’s cool to have a mystique. Not being on IG for over a year means those acquaintances from old jobs, people I met in line for bar bathrooms, and people from my past lives don’t keep tabs on me. This is what freedom looks like.”

“I love living my own little life without people looking in and me not looking over my shoulder at what everyone else is up to. It’s the absolute best. LOMO not FOMO! I love missing out.”
