“Le Corbuffet: Edible Art and Design Classics by artist Esther Choi is a James Beard-nominated cookbook that doesn’t behave like a cookbook. The project began as a series of dinner parties in her Brooklyn apartment, where Choi translated iconic artists and designers into dishes, with playful results like Quiche Haring and Frida Kale-o Salad. These gatherings were a commentary on the status of art, food, and design, revolving around these pun-inspired dishes (I love a pun so much I am bummed I didn’t think of this!). You can buy limited-edition signed archival prints from the book, too. Anyone want to come over for a Robert Rauschenburger? *featured in The Wonderlyst #105”
