“People will tell you this is a vampire novel. They are wrong.  People will also tell you this is a meditation on grief. That is only the half of it.”

“my first rec whenever someone needs a new read. pretty sure i held my breath the first 5 pages or so.”

“read this in one day! i can’t tell you the number of times i’ve searched for this book on goodreads to peruse the “readers also enjoyed” list. i want to read 100 more books like this.”

“I inhaled this book. Truly won’t be everyone’s taste, but if you love the concept of the personification of grief through body horror, then this one’s for you.”
