“Beautifully written and bleak but surprisingly funny meditation on losing someone who hasn’t actually died or left. Miri’s wife Leah goes missing for six months on a submarine research trip. When she unexpectedly returns, she’s not the same person who left. Classified as body horror, but the description doesn’t really fit imo (not icky). Not for those that dislike unanswered questions”

“Wished there was more horror overall but yeah as a fellow ocean/science lesbian Leah was real for that ending”
