Lilac Drink Syrup Recipe

“I've been making elderflower syrup for years, but only recently discovered lilac syrup! What a wonderful way to savour the feeling of late spring/early summer”

“Pick the flowers in full bloom and full sun for maximum floral flavor. Good in a g&t or just with tonic, or diluted with water for kids (saft in Swedish.) Dark purple lilacs give the best color but light purple ones the most flavor! Linked to not the exact recipe I used, but close enough (I used juice and flesh from about 3 lemons, 750ml water and 750g sugar)”
