“Whenever I see people in comment sections of animal moms and their babies and they wax poetic about how they’re just like us, I remember a lot of E. O. Wilson’s work, especially about ants and how they live in world much like ours? With heirarchies, with mini cultures, with politics and it reminds me that we, too, are wildlife. Ants is his seminal work but E.O. Wilson’s writing is a joy to read in general.”
