cole“sqirl threads michelin-level flavor combination and technique through a room that still feels like breakfast with friends. they put lacto-fermentation on the map. dinner has been “coming soon” for nearly four years, but good things take time. my order in the comments.”

Poog Podcast“Kate: Get thee to Sqirl. I'm there constantly. It's the best. Crave it constantly. Blind taste test, it won best chocolate chip cookie in Los Angeles. And people love to hate on good shit, and they go, "Sqirl??" I go, "Yeah, it's called unbeatable flavors. It's called consistency that'll blow your back out." Getting pounded with the flavors consistently. And so I'm really happy for them.”

Ella Snyder“Making pesto rice, a la SQIRL, the restaurant in LA. You literally just add pesto to your rice. It’s good with an egg for breakfast, or a protein like chicken for dinner.”
Kerrilynn“I grew up in Portland and the restaurant that holds the most memories for me is The Ringside. An old school steakhouse known for its onion rings. I've been dreaming of having them since the day I found out I have celiac almost twenty years ago. BUT I have found the even better version and they happen to be gluten-free and in LA and at one of my favorite restaurants, Sqirl. Run don't walk, and make a reservation for dinner. The only time of day they serve them.”
heaths moon“love is a sorrel pesto bowl.”
Patille“The sorrel pest o is incredible (with salmon) but I think my favorite dish has to be the crispy rice. The bits of chopped mint are incredible.”
