“I held out for so long on tablets — until grad school, when I finally decided that I’d make an iPad Pro (2019 model) my main computer. Seven years later, and absolutely no regrets. I even had to get an actual laptop to take a licensing exam a few years back and (sheepishly) have barely touched it since, so extreme is my preference for the iPad form factor at this point. I may finally upgrade in the next couple years to a shiny new model, but for non-work activities I still find my current device works well.”
