Claire JencksFirst to rec“I don't often train or race with music, but when I do I grab my airpods. One bud in and I'm ready to rock.”
Amu Killada“Before COVID, I don’t remember listening to this many podcasts or this much music. It was usually an activity on its own, or something I listened to during my commute. I think working from home changed that. I started playing podcasts in the background while doing everything else, and eventually it became something I did without even thinking about it. I wanted to curb the habit because I noticed that when I’m constantly consuming something in the background, I don’t remember much of what I actually did that day. So now I’ve put a limit on how many times I can open Spotify, and each listening session is capped at 20 minutes. It forces me to be intentional about what I actually want to listen to rather than just pressing play out of habit. It has helped me a lot with curbing mindless content consumption—and, surprisingly, made me enjoy what I do listen to more.”

Matt Johnston“I currently have the AirPods Pro 2. I’ve not found a reason to upgrade to the 3. These are pretty good. Decent battery life. They just work in the fashion of Apple stuff just working. I never realised that the killer feature was Active Noise Cancellation. I also never realised how loud my environment is - these completely fool your ears into making your music or audiobook actually the only thing you hear. It means I can run the AirPods at around 50% volume whereas with previous earphones I was struggling to hear anything even with the volume jacked to 100% Do yourself a favour. Noise Cancellation- your ears deserve it”
