“I never wanted a Kindle because I adore the smell and feel of a physical book, but I became curious when picking up a book in the middle of the night started to be the fastest way for me to fall back asleep. The backlight and dark mode is just the perfect amount of lighting to not need a lamp. Not to mention how much easier it is for me to travel with large books, and how much faster I read now! I don't have to bend myself into a weird pretzel to find a comfortable position, the battery lasts FOREVER, and it's just my favorite thing. Kindle Unlimited turned out to have better options than I thought and when I find a book I love, I go and purchase the physical copy from my local bookshop (support local bookstores foreverrrr)”
