“Shopping is so fun, but toooo accessible. Because of that, I’ve accumulated way too much stuff I don’t need anymore, and while I can donate (which I do!), the desire to shop and refine my taste is still unmet. This has been my solution! I went today and sold 12 items I don’t like anymore for $100 in store credit and left with 12 new-to-me items I lurvvv - J.Crew sweaters with the tags still on, a gorg vintage L.L.Bean fisherman’s sweater, FP Movement hike pants still available on their website, etc. It’s a way to avoid landfills, contribute to the circulation of goods in my community, and scratch the shopping itch without feeding into new-consumption culture. There are so many spots like this across the country. Hit em up!”
