Robert Palmer patiently explains to the voidFirst to rec
“Yes, it's AI, but it's the least worst AI you could use! Clicking the visit link will take you to the whole conversation.
Quick recommendation
If you want the easiest all-in-one (map + audio, no coding): Mapme or Tourient. Both let you drop pins, attach your own audio/photos, and embed on a website. Mapme is the most polished for point-and-click maps; Tourient is the most purpose-built for tours and is friendly to nonprofits.
If you want GPS auto-play "walk up and it talks": SonicMaps or VoiceMap.
If budget is near zero: free map tool (MapHub or uMap) + host your audio free on a service and link each pin to it.”
