Truly a must-see on any visit to SF. Come for the incredible classic art, thoughtful curation, and Rodin bronzes, stay for the incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the unexpected and moving Holocaust memorial and the delicious cafe. Bonus points for tacking on a walk to the Land's End labyrinth, but watch out for errant golf balls as you scurry across the golf course (boooooooo)

I almost want to gatekeep this incredible store but a) the gig is up, they have three locations and b) the annoying know-it-all in me will be sad if someone else recs it first. Theeeeeee best jewelry store in SF and maybe the whole Bay Area. Deeply creative and interesting fine jewelry. Worth going in for a browse anytime you're nearby.

Dahlia Garden at the conservatory of flowers

Dahlias are obviously gorgeous and the garden has so many incredible varieties, but one of the best things about it is just the fact that there are always people there just to look at photograph and admire the flowers. It’s so pure and so fun and so lovely to go there and just exist with nature and humanity and feel good about everything for one goddamn minute.
