Requests from Steve M

Currently in the depths of a terribly depressive cycle punctuated by chronic fatigue, low motivation, and extreme anhedonia. I've been through countless medication with no improvement over the last year and while therapy and shuffling through different modalities have been able to temporarily abate these symptoms, nothing has come close to providing long term relief. I've tried different coping mechanisms like trying to break down tasks to the smallest pieces but nothing seems to motivate me into action. It all feels crushing, how do you cope with this?

How does one recover from serious burnout? Been in a rut for a couple of weeks now and nothing seems to motivate me.

Trying to up my hair and skin care routine. Looking for recs for men’s shampoo/conditioner/bar soap/etc and accessories. I have relatively fine hair and my skin tends to dry out especially in the winter. My barometer for this stuff is quite low (I’ve been a Head & Shoulders guy for well over a decade) so hit me with the whole nine yards.

Give me your favorite live version of a song you love that you wish had an official version/on streaming services/etc.

Trying to expand my music horizons — I've been really into London Grammar, Phoebe Bridgers, Fiona Apple, and Lana Del Rey. Looking for similar artists in tone and style.

I missed out on a lot of movies in the last year; What should I add to my current must-watches? Currently in the queue: Materialists; Sorry, Baby; Hamnet; The Drama.

Need recommendations for how you process and accept loss and grief? Grief not just for losing others but your sense of self and identity?
