Fire of Love
•••
The only thing they love more than each other…is volcanoes. Some of the craziest footage I’ve ever seen. Lava looks so cool I just wanna touch it sooooo bad. Amazing music throughout, tons of Air songs :)

The Gleaners and I
•••

Hoop Dreams
•••
This FLOORED me, I didn’t even realize it was almost 3hrs. Hoop Dreams follows two basketball prodigies from inner city Chicago as they chase their dream of making it to the NBA. A cutting examination of class, race, and education in america, and the physical and psychological tolls of the pro sports pipeline.

Grey Gardens
•••
two fabulous, staunch, codependent, narcissistic women talk over each other the whole time in a dilapidated mansion in the Hamptons. The Maysles observe these two with such a keen eye. Great editing and many shots of cute kitties.
