Sounds for Sweater Weather
•••
My Libra Ass loves AUTUMN!!!! I know I’ll be yearning for summer a few months from now, but damn, fall just hits so hard. I love getting bundled in layers, and the sound of crunchy leaves under my feet. I feel cozy, introspective, and weirdly optimistic in the fall months. Here’s what’s gonna be in my ears

Maston & Greg Foat - Moving Images (2026)
•••
One of my fav releases of the year. An ode to classic library music from Greg Foat and Frank Maston, who make twin-keyboard magic. Very dreamy with a gentle groove

Faye Wong - 浮躁 (Fuzao) (1996)
•••
Effortlessly cool girl and diva, Faye Wong is literally referred to as “heavenly queen” in China and it’s easy to understand why! From her incredible performance in Chungking Express, to her iconic sense of style, Faye has always been THAT girl. She has quite a few albums, but this one has always been my favorite. Super atmospheric dream pop with interesting production choices. She even collaborated with the Cocteau Twins on a couple of tracks.

Villagerrr - Carousel (2026)
•••
This is my walking around/commuter album of the moment. Tender Midwestern twang. Clocking in at 7:34 ‘Virginia’ is a standout slow burn that takes me on a journey of self reflection. Keep the long songs comin’!

Make a playlist for your cat
•••
The day we picked up our lil guy, we had to drive for about an hour back to our house. I made this playlist for the ride and he was zonked. Lots of soothing and silly melodies. It kinda sounds like if a carnival was in the clouds?

Egg - Fugue In D Minor (1970)
•••
An absolute classic (literally) turned banger. Need the anthem of a lifetime? Look no further than Johann Sebastian Bach’s Fugue In D Minor, reimagined by British Prog Rockers, Egg. It’s dramatic, it’s sexy, it’s what played as my husband and I kissed on our wedding day and made for the most epic recessional
