Getting lost

Getting lost is the best way to get to know a new city. It's led me to little shops and cafes I'd never have found otherwise. It's led me into conversations with locals (that led me to more wonderful shops, cafes, and restaurants). Obviously, stay aware of your surroundings and stay safe, but otherwise, wander away! **Note: If you feel like traveling but aren't getting anywhere for a while, this is a great way to take a little trip at home. Take the train to a new neighborhood, put your phone away and start walking. You may discover some new favorite places in your own backyard!
