DS9: The Way of the Warrior (S04E01-02)
•••
This is where DS9 started getting good, for my money. By this point Sisko has been promoted to Captain, they have the Defiant, and things are starting to develop that will lead into the Dominion War. This episode is especially good because Worf transfers to DS9 from the Enterprise, and the Federation-Klingon alliance looks genuinely shaky.

One of my least-watched episodes, for some reason - probably because it features Worf’s son Alexander heavily. Annoying little shit.

TNG: Future Imperfect (S04E08)

Clever subversion of expectations in this one - “oh, it’s another time travel episode!” Not so fast. I like the combadges replacing pips. The scene where Riker loses his shit on Picard is fun too.

Hook this shit into my veins. 45 minutes of straight up competence porn, as many times as you can handle before your butt goes numb.
