Namechecked in the dance world as J-Sams, these Bloch tap shoes may help salvage what's left of your dignity and ego as you start beginner tap dance class at the ripe young age of 41 (at the behest of your toddler who's demanded you learn alongside them but you can't attend the class for toddlers). They're heavier than the average Oxford-style tap shoe and sound better, too. Definitely try them on IRL, as sizing is wonky and confusing even after reading every Reddit thread related to these shoes. Tap shoes are supposed to fit like gloves, and the leather needs time to mold to your feet.
