Two for Tripping
•••
WHEEEE A new coffee shop right in Dinkytown!!! I went last week during their soft opening. I got a cappuccino, and it was delicious. I also tried one of their fruit parfaits (also delicious). It is a super nice place to chill or study, and I can't wait to use their patio when the weather warms up. Replacing Annie's (moment of silence), Two for Tripping is in a historic location, right on the edge of Dinkytown and campus, with beautiful views of downtown. Check it out if you're in the area!

Momo Cafe

A super cute coffee shop in North Minneapolis, I got the chocolate-covered strawberry latte. It was delicious! They have a ton of creative and fun drinks, so if that's your thing, you'll love this place. They also sell momos (I didn't get one because I had just eaten, but I am sure they're delicious). The inside is super cute, and there are tons of tables to work or hang out. Overall, I will probably visit again.

Amazing coffee shop, one of the standouts in northeast Minneapolis for sure. I’ve been there twice, and I’ve gotten the Autumn Serenade (Molasses, Salt, Rosemary) and the Holy Hand Grenade (Lavender, Pomegranate, Grenadine Bitters) and they were both amazing! If you love fun coffee flavors as much as I do, this place is a must. It also had a super cute interior, which is always a plus!

Bordertown Coffee

Border town coffee, located in a former frat house right next to the University of Minnesota Twin-City’s east bank campus. The coffee is pretty decent, and it is a very vibe-y study area. I love studying in the single-person booths-they are super comfortable! A great study spot for all umn students who are tired of the library.

Backstory Coffee Roasters

Backstory is a very cute North Loop coffee shop, a great study/work place just a few miles west of the U of M's West Bank Campus. I got a cappuccino here and it was pretty good, but let's be real: You're not coming here for the coffee, you're coming here for the vibes! A great place to check out if you're looking for a new study spot in Minneapolis.

Wowowooww coffee x records colab?? Wake up babe, my dream store just dropped! Located in Whittier, this is the best "two birds with one stone" stop on any uptown trip. The coffee is delicious-I got a Daemon last time I went (Cherry, cardamom, pistachio), and it was delicious. They have a small, but charming collection of records, CDs, & cassettes, so don't come here expecting to find something niche, but if you browse their collection, you're sure to find something that peaks your interest. Definitely a worthwhile stop for anyone who loves records and coffee as much as I do!

Just visited this super cute coffee shop yesterday, and it quickly became one of my favorite study/work spots in the city! It is in an old house (from 1877) and the interior comes with all the charm that entails. The coffee is pretty average, but the chai is incredible. Whether you’re going to stay and do work or just stop in, this is a great stop for any trip to uptown!

Spyhouse Coffee Roasters Minneapolis, Minnesota
•••
Spyhouse have a few locations around the city, but their best one has to be their 4th Street and 2nd Ave location, located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. I went there a few weeks ago and the coffee was amazing, it is also a great study/work space.

One of the coolest coffee shops I have been to, the inside of their St. Anthony Main location is one of the most beautiful buildings in Minneapolis. It is a great study spot with some very well-made coffee. This is definitely worth a stop on any visit to St. Anthony Main.

This is definitely my favorite coffee shop that has multiple locations in Minneapolis - I have been to all of them and I can't decide my favorite! (Their East Hennepin location is the one I visit the most because it's closest to me, and it's a great study/work spot.) They have easily the most unique menu of any coffee shop I have been to in Minneapolis, and I love all of it. I've tried The Kingfield (Vanilla, Coriander, + Salt), Pollinator (Honey, Lavender, + Cardamom), and Busy Beaver (Maple Syrup, Molasses, Cinnamon, Black Pepper). Now I know what you're thinking-"Cardamom, Salt, Black Pepper, wtf?",-but hear me out: It works. It 1000000% works. If you love fun-flavored drinks and house made syrups, this is the place for you! Even if you don't, they have one of the best espressos in this city and are definitely worth a visit!

I've been visiting this coffee shop a lot over the last month and it is absolutely amazing. My favorite drinks have been Evelyn's Drink (a mocha with cinnamon and cloves) and The Camper (a smoked maple latte) they were both delicious and the care that is put in to every drink is obvious. The vibe of the coffee shop is also super comfy. Most of it is catered towards small groups or just people doing work, with most of the seating as booths and most of those booths having power outlets! They also roast and sell their own coffee (including the 1/3 caffeine Rec-League coffee in the photo!) I also bought their Bear Hug coffee, which is delicious. If you find yourself near one of their three locations, it is definitely worth a stop!

Absolutely amazing coffee shop is opening soon about 1000 feet from my apartment!! Located on the doorstep of the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities' campus at 333 SE Huron Blvd, if you find yourself near the U, this place is a must-visit. I went to multiple days of their soft opening. I tried a pecan pie latte and a pumpkin latte, and they were both amazing! Making most of their syrups in-house and having high-quality espresso, you can really tell that this Palestinian and El Salvadoran-owned coffee shop clearly puts a lot of care into their coffee. Given the owner's heritage, it also boasts a diverse menu, with inspirations from both the Middle East and Central American (I tried a sample of their house-made Horchata, and it was amazing). This coffee shop is 100% worth a visit for anyone in the city of Minneapolis.

This coffee shop, located across the street from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities West Bank, is one my favorites near campus. It has a very simple menu, but everything on it is amazing. The food is all vegan too, which is great for us vegetarians! This has great vibes and one of the best espressos in the city.

One of the best Minneapolis coffee shops, located in an empty mall in midtown, its location isn't doing it any favors, but rest assured: The coffee is incredible.
