The Legend of Suram Fortress (1985)

Incredibly beautiful movie with surreal yet grounded visuals. Think more 'fairy tale in the Grimms sense' than 'acid trip'

It's a 3.5 hour long movie that's got a long sequence that's just watching Delphine Seyrig make a meatloaf, yet somehow it's riveting the entire time. The first time I watched this, I watched it on 1.5x speed, and that was a total disservice to the film; do not do this.

An art show/experience that felt like this disorienting/hyperreal memory of the moment right before the world collapsed into the internet. Being there gave me some kind of a rush of almost deja-vu (nostalgia is too ‘fond’ to use here)

This is my second favorite pen. Love the line thickness and the feel of writing. Also kinda love the clippy top bit
