Feeding Tube Records

In an old mill building in Florence, only open on weekends, the sandwich board outside entices you with promises of "WEIRD RECORDS WEIRD BOOKS." Inside, it's full of intriguing psychedelic and experimental vinyl, decorated with weird art. It's a record store AND a record label. They occasionally have shows. It's become one of my favorite spots in town to discover new music.

The Yiddish Book Center
•••
This place is a treasure. Originally a haven for rescued books, it's now a museum and veritable cultural center. This massive effort saved an entire history from near-extinction, and is an important part of the Yiddish Revival. I'm so here for it!

The Bridge of Flowers

This is the Bridge of Flowers, a magical portal of awesomeness.

Three Sisters Sanctuary

Looking for some place fun, funky, and off the beaten path? Psychedelic found-object art sculptures mingle with Druid stone circles and ritual gardens. A great place to keep your appointment with the Wicker Man.

Two Ghosts Vinyl Café

This is the coolest hang I've had in a long time! Part record store (with listening stations), part sober bar with cozy booths and delicious mocktails. And friendly folks just hanging out and geeking out about all things music. A gem of a spot in the gem that is Turners Falls, Massachusetts.
