MY FAVORITE: Champagnes (Blanc de Noirs)

Blanc de Noirs translates to "white from black." It is a white Champagne made entirely from red grapes - specifically Pinot Noir, Meunier, or a blend of both. Because the clear juice is pressed quickly without the dark skins coming into direct contact with the juice, the result is a white or pale gold sparkling wine known for its rich body and more intense fruit flavors.
