flattered bon bon leather loafers

It’s honestly shocking how soft and buttery these are. Immediately broken in. I feel like they easily dress or or down. Worth the price IMO

the gap big shirt
•••
Okay so you want to feel like Ina Garten? A glass of wine in hand, your one true love, Jeffrey is out on the garden patio, and you’ve finished making a summer pasta to sit and enjoy. I have just the thing for you: the gap big shirt. Dress it up or dress it down. This shirt has the perfect proportions, is perfectly oversized, and comes in so many fabrics (I am loving the cotton poplin one!) In the summer I wear it with some bike shorts and somehow don’t feel like a slob while mom-ing about with my children. Yes, I do own several big shirts. No, I will not apologize for that.

wearing sweaters in the summer
•••
Okay this is somewhat laughable living in Atlanta, and was much more attainable when I lived in Minnesota (miss you so much Minnesota ♥️) But there is something so nice about putting on a cotton sweater over your pjs, sliding on flip flops, and walking out to your garden at 630 am in the summer, coffee in hand. Of course, in Atlanta that sweater must be discarded by 7am. But those 30 minutes are cozy and blissful. I could write an entire essay on my love for sweaters and how they are the workhorse of my wardrobe. But a summer sweater is just 🤌🏼🤌🏼

I seriously wear these shoes almost every day in the summer. Dress them up, dress them down. I have two colors: black and beige. I want a third color but will resist…maybe.

indyx app
•••
I’ve always cared deeply and thought intensely about my personal style. However, I was once (and can still be) a real shopaholic. After using the Indyx app (as well as Allison Bornstein’s three word method!), I’ve curated such a strong sense of security in my style, and I know what I want and need in my closet. It’s so fun to make outfits, create packing lists, and to keep of daily log of one of life’s most sure things: getting dressed.
