When you need to simplify
Evan Buddle
No Backpack Guy
•••
An interesting little post on whether or not we need all our little things and supports. “It is possible to go somewhere without preparing for every conceivable version of the day.”

Wow this book was good. I blew through it. If you enjoy reading about cults or alt societies I definitely recommend this but also it was just lovely to read.

Grada Nuevo in Thessaloniki Greece
•••
This is super niche probably but if you’re ever in Thessaloniki, you have to eat at this restaurant. The service was amazing and thoughtful. The food was some of the best I’ve ever had (have the lobster pasta). In general if you’re a food lover, Thessaloniki might be a good spot to visit.

Switzy by Emma Cline
•••
Loved this book. I’m a sucker for Emma Cline, the guest being one of my favorites. This book is really beautiful, about a man reflecting on his life when he’s close to the end. I thought it was lovely.

I’ve been looking for some chanting music and this album is so lovely and the songs just stick with me all day to hum along to. I also love “as I relax”

Lentine Alexis’ recipe library
•••
Well worth the $5 monthly fee to access these recipes. They are all delicious and seasonal. I cannot recommend it enough. She also has a back to forward subscription that goes more into debt on ayervedic medicine that I also love!

When you need a reality check
On another planet they can save me by lieke marsman
•••
This book is so beautiful. You can feel her loneliness in her experience but also relate to the philosophical research and alien conspiracies. A prompt to questioning what you believe and the certainty that you have with that belief. There is so much that we don’t know.

Archer & Olive Sketchbooks
•••
In the Square size! These are my favorite sketchbooks. They have beautiful dot grid paper that is fairly thick and they are so well made. They take paint pens very well, I haven’t tried water color.

Le Bon Shoppe Arc Pants
•••
I’m newly obsessed with these pants. They fit true to size and are nice enough for me to wear to work but feel like pajamas.
