Wupatki National Monument

“A gem! Just north of Flagstaff, enter via the Wupatki National Monument sign instead of driving through the longer Sunset Crater route. Two (!!) ball courts, multiple pueblos (some you can squeeze from room to room) and you can see Monument Valley from the top of the main Pueblo’s viewpoint. Go on a cloudy day for the best experience since the sun can be intense.”
