“From KARMA: "In the early 1960s, Beattie acquired a small 6 x 9-inch hand press and created a multitude of works, published as “M-C Press.” These materials often included inked leaf prints, body prints, collages, poetry, and photography. In 1963, he and fellow artist Herms collaborated on 50 decks of poetry cards titled ‘Game for Angels.’ Each deck of 32 cards came in a hand-sewn drawstring bag."
