Roosevelt, specifically the renowned Four Freedoms speech he gave in response to the war in 1941 and a true declaration of democracy. The different elevations created with angular concrete and stairs let visitors view Roosevelt Island from different vantage points and see the NYC skyline hugging the East River.”
