Liv“might be my preferred mode of NYC transport now. $4.50 for a breeze and view of the skyline??? What more could ya want”

Lily“yes including (maybe especially) the Staten Island ferry which is FREE and gives one of the best possible views of the Statue of Liberty. these bad boys are the most heavily subsidized mode of public transit in New York, meaning they really should cost much more for us than they do. hop on the route of your choice, grab a beer at the concession stand, snag a windy deck seat, and enjoy sailing to your destination for the low price of $4 each way.”

Leslie“bc it’s a way better deal to get 10 than buying it each time ($2.90 vs $4.50!) but also bc once you have it you’ll be more inclined to take the scenic route”
