This Way Up

“Aisling Bea, who wrote and starred in this show, is undeniably the funniest person in every room she’s in. She’s quick, charming, and a crackling good time. So is her alter ego here, Aine, and the genius of the show is its exploration of what the funniest person you know is trying to cover up. It deals so deftly with depression and other deeper topics while somehow also staying light and sharp.”

“This show is funny & dark & comforting all in one. Can’t beat the combo of Aisling Bea and Sharon Horgan, who play sisters. Cozy & dysfunctional like all the best families.”

“Ended too soon, but holy shit is the main character me”

“I'll watch any show with Sharon Horgan. And this is Sharon Horgan AND Aisling Bea.”
