“My favorite sci fi-series. Such amazing world-building and exploration of different (alien) cultures and relationships. I come back to these four books again and again”

“Pretty sure she invented hopepunk as a genre. Competency porn, but in space - aka if you loved The Pitt and also like science fiction, you'll be into this.”

“Becky Chambers’ Wayfarers series (this is the first book) was my first time reading sci-fi in space and maybe I’m ruined now because I want them all to be this way. I wouldn’t say they’re super plot-driven, more character vignettes, but I could live with her characters forever. Record of a Spaceborn Few is my fav, and made me love Long Way even more on the reread.”
