“Be forewarned that you will wait an average of 30-40 minutes in line here, but somehow that adds to the charm (and I usually hate lines!!!). Everyone in line is utterly unbothered by the wait and content to hang out and eye the rotating display of bread and pastries. The laminated pastry here runs a bit sweeter (and much larger) than its average equivalent would in Brooklyn, but even that I find oddly enjoyable. Tl;dr this is the small town bakery depicted in every Hallmark movie and somehow it is perfect”
