“Cousin to a list, for sure, but if you're not familiar with the practice, it's essentially stream-of-conscious journaling first thing in the morning. Write as if no one else or even you will ever have to read it again. Let the penmanship be messy, don't worry about legibility or even coherence. Interrupt yourself in the middle of a deep thought with "leftovers!" or in the middle of an anxious thought about work with "wow the sky right now". Again, you may know about it already, but if you don't, it's originally from The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. She recommends three pages but I find even one page helps my ADHD brain find some breathing room before the day starts. Best of luck! 🫶”
