“I just finished this book and it was a very twisty steady stream of consciousness words connecting to describe memories all held in one place over a period of years (a coming of age story). It was written in 2009, takes place in the 80s in Sag Harbor, he discusses race, identity, teen life. Personally, I loved reading about a place I know so well, some history about it and being able to visualize it, noting some places that still exist and have changed very little and of course others changed quite a lot. This book is still relevant today. And I loved it.”
