“Consignment shops accept seasonal clothing. So, in Summer 2026, I place too-small bathing suits or outfits in a bin labeled “to consign Spring 2027”. Fall 2026 items will get placed in a “to consign Summer 2027” bin, etc. Would I like to free up the storage space sooner? Yes. Do I make more money from consigning this way? Also yes. It’s a trade off, just like good consignment should be.”
