This two-part episode attempts to explain the mythology and mystique of the most exclusive club in the world, Berghain. It ends up becoming a moving treatise about the very nature of techno culture, a historical survey of how it came to take hold in Berlin (and Detroit), and how the legal worlds attempt to regulate it is shaping its future. So good. Also some VERY helpful tips about how to get in if that’s your thing!”
Jules“What starts as an amazing question - why didn’t these two gay guys get in to the most exclusive club in the world - winds into a fascinating look into german history, the lasting cultural effects of the berlin wall, and what electronic music truly “is” — including the political and governmental effects of what trying to define it results in. You gotta listen to understand what I mean.”

Super fascinating.”
