Peter Benchley doesn't seem to get enough credit for penning this beloved story. I do think the movie poster elevated the book cover significantly, as the original cover features a toothless, drab, hardly menacing shark. For public library users, the audiobook is available on Hoopla Digital!”

Hope Corrigan“Benchley on Cape Cod, Marlon James in Jamaica, Sally Rooney in Ireland, Marquez in Colombia, le Carre in Panama… A large part of my vacation excitement is tailoring my book(s) choices to be set in the place I’m visiting. It enriches the experience especially when you read a sentence referencing a landmark or street you just saw or walked down.”
