“A small neighborhood park adjacent to Hakusan Shrine, which was originally part of the shrine's own grounds and opened as a public park in 1891. For most of the year it's an ordinary local park, but during the 文京あじさいまつり (Bunkyo Hydrangea Festival) each June, it becomes half of the festival grounds with roughly 3,000 hydrangea plants spread across the park and the shrine grounds together!”
