“Moved to nyc last fall knowing no one. At first it was intimidating going to a show in a small non-traditional venue in the outskirts of greenpoint. I was a foreigner in this world of writers, actors, artists and eclectics. It was hard leaving my comfort zone, but after going to a few shows, readings and parties I got to know people, and now have a creative place to hangout and watch really good plays.
Check out local theaters, galleries and other indie venues. People are more welcoming than you may think.”
