“Tracy Emin - Cancer Sun, Scorpio or Sagittarius Moon, Unknown rising
It’s only appropriate that a Cancer get labeled an enfant terrible at some point in their lives. Emin’s work is indulgently confessional, but I’m impressed by how well she documents her emotional flux. The evidence of her body’s temperamental endurance in very familiar forms are exalted into art. It feels domestic and personal in scale, but loud. Plus I love that she got to open her retrospective during Jupiter in Cancer.”
