This film felt like a fairy tale, one that is filled with desire for a lost love trying to experience even just a piece of it again. The setting is futuristic, but you feel lost in the past the entire time. It’s atmospheric, captivating, and captures the feeling of longing in only a way Wong Kar-Wai can. The third installment of the Love Trilogy, so while it’s recommended to watch in order, you don’t need to in order to fall in love with this masterpiece.”
