    “Okay, it doesn’t have to be San Diego, but choose a place that’s mildly interesting to you, but you could also be perfectly happy never getting around to it too. You won’t ever want to revisit this place. Go as soon as you possibly can, take a friend who has no expectations of the trip whatsoever. Eat something that doesn’t taste like sadness. Find nature for as long as you can tolerate being out of bed. Buy yourself something you’ll never wear or use. Order room service.”
