Kat (they/them)First to rec“Ok, for real now - I absolutely adore natural cleaning products, and use them for 95% of my cleaning. I hate artificial colors, scents, and using things that destroy the planet. Unfortunately, after years of trying other solutions to get out oil stains (which, as a slob, I attract like a moth to a flame) I have never found anything more magically effective for getting out grease-based stained than Dawn. I justify using it, even though it is the antithesis of eco-friendly, because it is less eco-friendly to have to get rid of clothes because they are stained, which I would have to do after, like, one wear. We always have a bottle in our laundry room marked in Sharpie with "FOR STAINS ONLY" so no one dares use it for dishes (we use Blueland powder dish soap for that like the yuppies we are.)”

Bethany“Yes! Has saved our clothes from cooking/grease stains many times since we apparently will never learn to just wear the apron. (Power spray sometimes works, but the OG dawn is consistently effective.)”
chels“Gets grease stains out, every time. Rub some on the stain with an old toothbrush, let us sit for 3-12 hours, and then wash in cold water. Voila!”
