Bird Buddy Smart Bird Feeder

“the idea of a smart birdfeeder is admittedly silly/indulgent, but we bought one to put at my aunt's beach-side home and the joy we get from all the updates (while we sit in our city home) is quite significant. we see the cutest little birds visit and it's taught us how to identify them. and we get the not-infrequent squirrel closeup video, which is cute (if frustrating).”

“I have gotten photos of birds i wasn’t even aware were on my property- If he is a birder he will enjoy this.”

“a game-changer for bird lovers! takes photos and videos, identifies the bird, sends phone notifications. you can collect your photos/videos into groups, watch live feeds from around the world, add friends or family to your feeder, browse all the species available. their customer service was great when i needed it that one time. lots of add-ons (such as solar panel or a longer perch) and they have hummingbird feeders too. i ordered mine when it was a kickstarter campaign, then waited thru delayed manufacturing by years because of covid. totally worth it.”

“CUTE cam! I lose my mind with excitement every time I get a notification that there’s a visitor at my feeder. Doesn’t matter if it’s that same brown sparrow again.”
