Megan P“This book is about two Mennonite sisters, each who have a very different life but care deeply for each other. They have to make difficult decisions and have hard conversations but it is filled with profound grace. Miriam Toews is an incredible writer who focuses a lot on the Canadian Mennonite community. I sobbed the last 50 pages like a baby and then called my sister.”

Kate“Follows two sisters - one, an accomplished pianist who wants more than anything to die, and the other, a screw-up who is trying desperately for her to stay alive. It's dark but also deeply funny, just like life. I am very close to my sister and this novel is the closest I've come to showing that love, even with all its pain, written out.”
