“Modernist home of painters Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant as well as a key gathering place for the Bloomsbury group. Every surface is lovingly decorated and the garden feels like a living painting itself. Well worth a weekend trip from London, especially for a recovering minimalist.”

“Because it is the antidote to AI, Algorithm decorating, a celebration of collective, chaotic, and colorful artists living collectively, including my hero, Virginia Woolf. If stream-of-consciousness were a house, here it is. Three cheers for The Bloomsbury Group, Omega workshop , a real house and garden with real characters. I obvi. can't say enough about this house, and can't wait to visit in person. Big thanks to designer Frances Merrill in LA who turned me onto Charleston when I interviewed her for a story I wrote & titled: "Bloomsbury in Brentwood."”
