A famous, scenic winding road in the eastern Santa Monica Mountains of Southern California

“It's like being in a movie and it's worth the fact that you'll pass a star van or two and sit too long at the intersection with Laurel Canyon. I lived at Mulholland and Nichols Canyon for 15 years and it never got old, even when it was frustrating. The route from the 101 to the 405 — either direction but I prefer east to west. Go up, play music loudly, breathe. See this often misunderstood fantastic city from another vista.”
