Bypassing theology and viewing Christianity from a purely mythological lens, Watts makes the argument that original Christianity is far more perennial than the modern church appears. As someone who grew up with a minister as a father… And has gravitated towards the perrenial philosophy, but cannot escape the symbolism of the Christian myth… This was a rich reading experience. (can get dry in some explanation of things, but the gold nuggets are worth it)”
