“You may recall this tea from its humorous cameo in the movie THEATER CAMP, where the theater kids sell "genuine Throat Coat" to each other like it's a drug deal. Well, for teachers, it's less dramatic and more wholesome than that -- I just offer some of mine in Slack to my fellow profs like a cute lil academic who formerly worked in corporate. It's a well-known secret among teachers that the first few weeks of the semester* are filled with so much instruction that it'll kill our voices, our main tool. But a big box of Throat Coat tea is magic, y'all. I've seen and experienced it vanquish laryngitis in a few sips. It'll heal your throat in no time. Much like the THEATER CAMP kids said, it's gotta be genuine Throat Coat, though. Nothing else will do. *I don't know anything about the quarter system. I don't understand it.
